Appreciation – A wish from the Heart
How can we express appreciation for ourselves or someone dear to us through a piece of jewelry?
This question inspired the creadtion of Appreciation.
At the centre of the Sterling Silver necklace rests “Sign of Life” – a symbol carrying the wish for a fulfilled life, strength and good health. Its hammered surface resembles the rippling waves of the ocean, reminding us that without water, there is no life. The necklace itself is made of numerous tiny heart-shaped links, because every heartfelt wish comes from the heart.
And then something unexpected happened.
What I hadn’t considered while designing Appreciation was that these little silver haéarts would move naturally when worn. Even the gentle movement of the neck while speaking makes them catch and reflect the light, creating tiny flashes almost like sparkling diamonds.
A little touch of magic that wasn’t planned- it simply happened.
Appreciation. For someone you love. Including yourself.
